never jodge a book by its cover

I think first impressions are very important because they say important things about a person, for example, one day I met my cousin's boyfriend, and he had an ugly appearance because when I saw him he had a very bohemian look. He had orange hair and wore jeans that were very broken and had many earrings. Then the first thing I thought was why? My cousin had been interested in this guy. But then I remembered the saying 'never judge a book by its cover. So I went to talk to him to see what kind of person he was. And it turned out that he was a very funny, and loved to laugh and was very friendly and intelligent. So immediately I saw that, that was what my cousin looked at him. She looked inside him and left behind the appearance of the guy. That day I learned a lot of appearances and that no matter how you dress or do you see. Does not matter if people talk bad about you because you really can be a great person.
This is a clear example of why the first impressions are so important especially when you are about to met the parents of your girl friend (parents in law) there is where you need to do your best because they want a great couple for their daughter.
Also being on time when you are meeting someone for the first time plan to be a few minutes early, and don not make excuses like oh! ‘Sorry there was a lot of traffic’ no you always need to be prepared. And remember arriving early is much better than arriving late. That is the first step of creating a great first impression. Also be yourself because if you try to be someone else maybe some people like you but you we're really that person. So always be yourself.
Present yourself appropriately the key to a good impression is to present yourself appropriately. Of course physical appearance matters. The person you are meeting for the first time does not know you and your appearance is usually the first clue he or she has to go on. Be positive Your attitude shows through in everything you do. Project a positive attitude, even in the face of criticism or in the case of nervousness. Strive to learn from your meeting and to contribute appropriately, maintaining an upbeat manner and a smile.
